01Practice

Practice starts ahead and stays ahead

Half the work

Each line is the mean over held-out courses and seeds of how far her best clean lap so far is from the best lap anyone found on that course at that speed (lower is better); the band is its 95% interval. The two dots are single plans flown once.

02Zero-shot

Her first try on a new course

Why it shrank

A lap ratio below one means her first lap was quicker than the plan the drone flies with no experience at all, on the same course at the same top speed. Brackets are 95% intervals; an interval that includes one is not a significant difference.

03Named courses

Loop and Slalom

Loop and Slalom are the two courses on the drone page. Neither was practised on. Each is one course, so its numbers carry no interval; the gap difference is seeded practice minus practice from scratch, averaged over seeds (negative means seeded practice is ahead).
